Looking for a specific vintage Little Golden Book  book that you’d love turned into a Scrappy Pages journal? This listing is the first step in creating your custom journal!

This listing is only for books that are out of print and not sold on Amazon as new.  All books must be Little Golden Books. 

✨ ONE BOOK PER DEPOSIT

Each $10 deposit is for ONE book and ONE custom journal. If you would like more than one book made into a journal, please purchase a separate $10 deposit for each book.

💕 HOW IT WORKS

1️⃣ Choose your selections in this listing, including the book you’re looking for, your journal preferences, and any accessories from Grandma’s Scrap Basket you’d like to add.

2️⃣ Purchase this listing to pay your $10 deposit.

3️⃣ I’ll source your requested book from my personal collection, eBay, or other online thrift and resale shops.

4️⃣ Once I’ve sourced your book, I’ll create a custom listing with your final balance. Custom journals start at $28, with the cost of your book and any selected add-ons added to that price. Book cost is determined using the average price of comparable eBay listings. Your $10 deposit will be deducted from the total, and shipping will be calculated by Shopify using USPS.

Your custom listing price will be calculated as:

$28 journal + book cost + add-ons + shipping - $10 deposit = final balance due

5️⃣ Watch your email for your custom listing. You must purchase your custom listing within 48 hours. If it is not purchased within 48 hours, your $10 deposit will be forfeited.

6️⃣ Once your custom listing is purchased, I’ll order your book and get started creating your one-of-a-kind journal!

Accessories will be made to coordinate with your journal. Because they are handmade, fabric patterns, colors, and placement may vary.

📖 VINTAGE BOOK CONDITION

The books used for custom journals are vintage or pre-loved and will show signs of wear consistent with their age. This may include worn edges, marks, small tears, discoloration, or previous owners’ names or writing, especially in the “This Book Belongs To” area or inside the front cover.

These signs of a book’s history are part of what makes each journal unique.

📦 PROCESSING & SHIPPING

This $10 deposit listing is NOT an order for a completed journal.

When this order is marked complete, it means your requested book has been ordered. It does NOT mean your finished journal has shipped.

After you purchase your custom listing and I order your book, I will mark this $10 deposit order complete. Your custom journal listing then becomes your actual journal order and will include the processing time and estimated shipping date for your finished journal.

Your completed journal will ship under the custom listing, not this deposit listing. Any tracking information for your finished journal will be associated with that order.

Because your book must arrive before I can create your journal, unexpected shipping delays from the book seller may affect the estimated completion date. If a significant delay occurs, I’ll contact you through email.

The $10 paid through this listing is a deposit only and is NOT the full purchase price of your journal. Your deposit will be applied toward your final purchase price.

I will not purchase the book until your final custom listing has been paid.

Because vintage and pre-loved books vary in availability, condition, and price, I cannot guarantee that every requested title will be available at a particular price. I’ll use comparable eBay listings to establish a fair sourcing cost before creating your final listing.

If your custom listing is not purchased within 48 hours, your deposit will be forfeited, and the book will not be ordered.

One deposit covers one book request only. Additional book requests require separate deposits.
