Are your storybook journals handmade?

Yes! Every Scrappy Pages storybook journal is handmade with care. Each journal is assembled individually, making it a unique creation.

Are your journals made from vintage books?

Many of our journals are created using vintage or previously loved books, but we also offer journals made from brand-new books. Each product description will tell you which type you're purchasing.

Do the journals include the original story?

Yes! Our storybook journals include the original story. Depending on the journal, the story may be placed at the beginning, divided into sections, or scattered throughout the pages. Check each listing for details.

What kind of paper is inside the journals?

We offer a variety of paper options, including blank, lined, dot grid, and graph paper. The paper type varies by journal and is listed in the product description.

Do your journals include pockets and bookmarks?

Most of our standard storybook journals include decorative pocket pages, but bookmarks are not included. Handmade bookmarks and other accessories are available for purchase separately from Grandma's Scrap Basket. Please check each product listing for specific details.

What are Grandma's Scrap Basket Add-Ons?

Grandma's Scrap Basket Add-Ons are handmade fabric accessories that add a little extra personality to your storybook journal.

• Paperclip Tassel: A decorative fabric tassel that clips onto your pages.

• Fabric Bookmark: A handmade fabric strip to mark your place.

• Pen Sleeve: A fabric sleeve that holds 2–3 pens.

Each accessory is sold separately and is not automatically included with your journal.

Will my journal look exactly like the photos?

Because our journals are handmade, small variations in paper designs, pockets, stickers, and embellishments may occur. Vintage books may also show signs of their previous life. These details make each journal special!

Can I request a specific book title?

We occasionally offer custom storybook journal options where you can choose a book title. Availability depends on whether we can locate the requested book. Check our shop for current custom-order listings.

Can I send you my own book to turn into a journal?

Unfortunately, we do not accept customer-supplied books. We understand that some books hold special memories, and we would hate for a treasured book to be lost or damaged during shipping or the journal-making process. Thank you for understanding!

Do you sell journal accessories separately?

Yes! Grandma's Scrapbasket offers handmade accessories such as paperclip tassels, fabric bookmarks, and pen sleeves. These are sold separately unless a product listing specifically states they're included.

Do you sell instructions for making my own journals?

Yes! Our Storybook Journal MEGA Manual is a digital guide that walks you through the process of creating your own storybook journals. We also offer other digital crafting resources and printable pages.

Will I receive a physical product when purchasing a digital download?

No. Digital downloads are electronic products, and nothing will be mailed to you. Please read the product description carefully before purchasing.

Can I sell journals I make using your manual?

Yes! You may sell finished handmade journals created using the techniques taught in our manual. However, the manual itself, its printable resources, photos, and instructional materials may not be copied, shared, redistributed, or resold.

How long does shipping take?

Processing and shipping times vary depending on the product. Some items are ready to ship, while others require additional preparation. Estimated shipping information is provided at checkout.

Do you ship internationally?

At this time, we ship physical products within the United States only.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

Because many of our items are handmade, unique, or digital, all sales are final, and we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind.

However, we want you to love your purchase! If something arrives damaged, incorrect, or not as described, please contact us so we can help make it right.
